​​Our EPAC Contemporary Gallery mission  is to instruct, inform and inspire our artists, customers and guests in our beautiful historic settings, where we...
- Provide a high-quality source of art in a variety of mediums.
- Create exciting venues where artists can exhibit and sell their art that showcase the Town of Enfield and its historic properties.
- Represent and promote the work of our artists through our gallery, website, workshops, etc.
- Provide high-quality classes and workshops for adults and children  that is designed to inspire while providing fun and educational art experiences for all ages and abilities.
-Create artist in residency programs for aspiring and currently professional artists to work in a serene, rural setting perfecting and developing their craft.

We are dedicated to bringing joy and beauty to the art collector. With a fine ensemble of the artists, we offer paintings and sculptures that will enhance your life and touch your heart. It is our wish to fulfill your art desires with unique and inspirational creations

EPAC Contemporary Curator              Charles Philip Brooks
Charles Philip Brooks, born in North Carolina, studied in New England in the studio of highly respected Boston School authority Paul Ingbretson and with the renowned American Barbizon painter Dennis Sheehan. He is widely known for his evocative Tonalist landscapes.
As curator with the EPAC (Enfield Performing Arts Center) Contemporary Art Series and with his project space, Cardinal Gallery, Mr. Brooks brings more than 20 years of exhibition experience and a rich, diverse nationwide and international network of artists. He has previously coordinated exhibitions and co-curated projects with many art centers and small museums - including the Spartanburg Museum of Art, 1212 Gallery, Artspace Richmond, ArtWorks, and KCCA. Formerly, he was Artist in Residence with the Imperial Centre for the Arts and Sciences. He is keenly interested in the work of southern artists. 
His recent works include paintings, drawings, prints, and sculptures reflecting a highly emotive and personal approach, informed by a deep reverence for the history of art. www.charlesphilipbrooks. com

   7 December 2019     Innovation & Tradition   This event was held in conjunction with the Downtown Enfield Restoration and Preservation annual Enfield Christmas homes tour.     Our thanks to Larry Perkins, owner of The Collective Center.   This incredibly talented group of artists' work hung so beautifully in this former Meyer's Department store building.

21 September 2019    Paintings & Sculpture   This represented our first official event as EPAC Contemporary Gallery and hosted at the private residence and studio of Myra WIrtz.    A fun and festive evening catered by Mrs. Delresa Silver and joined by Kaci Creole food truck.

Thony Aiuppy  is a visual artist, art educator, and writer. He holds an MFA in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He currently lives and works with his family in Jacksonville FL     www.thonyaiuppy.com
Ben Reid Born in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, the artist grew up in a series of old houses in weird little Virginian towns..  He now lives in North Carolina, where he  earned his BFA, was named a Wingate Fellow in 2010. Looking back on her childhood in Louisiana, Myra’s creativity grew out of the need to fill the quiet hours in a small, rural town with her own form of entertainment. 21 April 2012  Lee Johnson, Paintings & Drawings, & Special Curator selections

This was our debut art exhibit setting the seeds of the future of EPAC gallery.  This event was held at the Masonic Lodge and Temple building at 137 SE Railroad Street Enfield NC, a beautiful 1926 art deco structure featuring two theatrical spaces.   

 Lee Johnson graduated from New College with a degree in Fine Art. He has studied with Betty Lou Totten in Dunedin, Leo Neufeld in New Mexico, and with Charles Cecil in Florence, Italy where he studied and taught for four years.  He currently resides near Raleigh in Saxapahaw NC.   www.johnsonstudio.org
